Invasion U.S.A.

by Dave Batcheller, written in 2007.

America is being invaded – with stealth, speed, and relative silence. The power elite are steadily exchanging our American heritage and unique form of government for a fundamentally un-American, globalistic system. Our leaders continue to promise greater benefits and security while allowing the gradual subversion of our U.S. Constitution and our individual rights as citizens. In reality, they are exposing us to grave danger and an uncertain future. This invasion is being cleverly disguised with arguments of “economic necessity”, “global cooperation”, and “multiculturalism.”

The Threat to Our Society

The invasion I speak of is the rapid, unchecked increase in illegal immigration. Do you think “invasion” is an exaggeration? At 2 to 3 million per year, I hardly think so. Even Time Magazine reported (back in 2004) that enough illegal aliens were flooding into the U.S. to fill 60 Boeing 737 flights per day for an entire year!

Thirty six million people now live here who were born in a foreign nation, nearly as many as during the cumulative total of our nation’s 350-year history! While America has always welcomed immigrants, the rate at which they are coming has dramatically exploded since the passage of the Immigration Act of 1965, and especially in the past 7 years. During the Bush administration alone, the number of persons living illegally in the United States has risen to over 12 million, even by government estimates. The actual number is undoubtedly much higher. Even Martin Luther King gave us this warning:

“There is nothing more dangerous than to build a society, with a large segment of people in that society who feel that they have no stake in it; who feel that they have nothing to lose. People who have a stake in their society protect that society, but when they don’t have it, they unconsciously want to destroy it.”

A Clear and Present Danger

In the past, civilizations have been destroyed by the rapid influx of foreigners, especially when they refuse to assimilate completely into their new culture. The vast majority of those entering our country illegally are from third world countries, with Mexico at the top of the list. The demonstrations and marches, held right here in America, with people waving Mexican flags and chanting obscene, unpatriotic remarks should be enough to alert any true American. Yet most of us continue to remain passive or unconcerned, while these people insist on their “rights” and receive a multitude of benefits at our expense.

The Roman Empire suffered eventual disintegration and defeat in part because of a rapid, uncontrolled flood of immigrants. The Soviet Empire struggled and fell, largely affected by regional and ethnic factions. Today, all over Europe and in Russia, declining native populations are being replaced with immigrants from Africa, the Arab World and China. The same process is now firmly taking root in the United States.

Why Won’t They Secure Our Borders?

Why do our politicians refuse to deal with this issue and simply secure our borders? This question exposes a gross inconsistency when we are being told that we are engaged in a “worldwide war on terror.” Is it really that difficult to secure the borders? The recent failure of congress to pass immigration reform that included amnesty for millions of illegal aliens clearly demonstrates not only their agenda, but also how far they are separated from the will of the American people.
While our politicians and our nation remain divided in the midst of this crisis, a flood of illegal immigrants continues to pour across our borders. In addition to average people just “seeking a better life in America”, this number also includes a sizable number of gang members, and drug and gun runners, and other criminals. Significant also is the number of potential terrorists caught, referred to by the Border Patrol as OTMs (other than Mexicans), whose numbers tripled between 2003 and 2005 to over 150,000. And where are those who were not apprehended? All of these groups are very rarely reported in the media, even though the destruction they bring to our nation is immeasurable.

The True Cost of Illegal Immigration

When we peel back the layers of superficial arguments and symptoms related to illegal immigration, we begin to discover and expose the true cost that America is paying. This comes in many forms:
 The chain reaction caused by granting U.S. citizenship to babies born of illegal parents
 The ever-present temptation for American companies to hire illegals to save a buck
 The loss of thousands of jobs for American citizens
 A heavier burden on our education, tax, insurance, social security and welfare systems
 Added expenses for bi-lingual programs, healthcare, law enforcement, and prisons
 Escalated crime rates against law abiding American citizens
 The cost personally to landowners who live near the border with Mexico
 And many, many more

The Hidden Agenda

Lurking behind the surface lays the true motive or reason for these policies and trends. For several generations an ideology has been gaining momentum in America and around the world which has as it central objective the creation of a global economy and one world government. This strategy has been clearly laid out and advocated for years by organizations like the Council on Foreign Relations and the Tri-Lateral Commission. Many of our top leaders are members.

In 2005, President George W. Bush met privately with the Mexican president and the prime minister of Canada to initiate the “Security and Partnership Agreement” (SPP). An elaborate plan is being developed to erase our borders and national sovereignty in order to promote international cooperation and trade.

One of the most serious problems with this plan was that neither the Congress nor the American people have been consulted. The development of this “North American Union”, similar to that in Europe, has been, and continues to be, carried out “under the radar” by unelected appointees and committees. Understanding this insidious plan unravels the mystery and exposes the motives and inconsistencies of our own leaders.

Our Last Chance

In his book The State of Emergency, Pat Buchanan writes that in 1960, America had a population of about 180 million, 89 percent of whom were of European descent and 10 percent were African-Americans. The remaining 1 percent was a mixture of Hispanics, Asians and others. In all, 97 percent spoke English.

Buchanan goes on to predict that by the year 2050, the U.S will have a population of 420 million. People of European ancestry will then be in the minority, as it is today in the American Southwest and many of our major cities. This population will include over 100 million Hispanics, who are already beginning to overpass blacks as the largest minority group. Our national landscape will more closely resemble a third world country, with a vanishing middle class and a deep chasm between rich and poor.

This struggle is not about race, but rather preserving our unique American heritage and our future. The greatness of America was founded and developed with certain principals and values. If these become diluted or lost we will no longer be America, but something entirely different. Of course there are those among us who wish this to happen. Each one of us who understands and is concerned about these issues must act now to prevent the demise of our great republic.
